  Part of the Operation Engineering Offshore Division under the Facility Optimization Team. The team functions to oversee the ongoing operation and accommodate the needs of gas fields across Indonesia. Job responsibilities included analyzing equipment performance, reviewing and revalidating equipment sizing, and simulating installed facilities to develop new operating procedures or start-up procedures.Achievement:• Developed novel operating and start-up procedures for air compression, resulting in a 40% reduction in electricity costs and carbon footprint by up to 1700 tons per year in the Grati gas field.• Repurposed a low-productivity cooler, optimizing its efficiency within a new natural gas cooling system to enhance the performance of the dew point control system.• Assessed pumping power sufficiency in case of well pressure reduction, and studied slugging mitigation in the North Belut gas field.
