Other than procurement contracts, he also drafted and reviewed other contracts which are needed by the operations and business/commercial functions. Due to diverse nature, he has drafted and reviewed various commercial contracts for the company, such as Gas Sales Agreement, Seller’s Appointment Agreement, Land Use Agreement, Right of Way Agreement, Crossing Agreement, Joint Operating Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement, Farm in/out Agreement, and any other types of agreement. Other than commercial contract, he also assisted operations and project during the procurement process for the company major projects especially related to the EPC contracts.Since he worked in a multinational company, it is mandatory for him to be familiar with the anticorruption policies regulations (such as the Global Anti-Corruption Policies, FCPA and UK Bribery Act).   Reporting to : Sr. Manager E&P Legal / VP LegalAfter Medco E&P Natuna Ltd’s office physically integrated with Medco E&P – Indonesia in 2019, other than provide assistance to Medco’s Offshore Asset (which heritage from ConocoPhillips), he started to provide assistance for several Medco’s onshore asset in Indonesia.In March 2020, he was appointed as Manager E&P Legal – Onshore, which focusing in handling any legal matters in Medco’s onshore asset in Indonesia. Previously he was handling 1 (one) block / working area in offshore, after this appointment he handled legal matters for few onshore blocks (Block “A” Aceh, South Sumatera Block, Lematang, Rimau, Tarakan, Bangkanai and some assistance to JOBs which Medco is involved, such as Simenggaris and Tomori).He managed his team in assisting user in legal matters which related to operation matters, PI 10% issues, commercial matters, procurement legal assistance, litigation matters and also assisting the land matters department.Although his new role was no longer handle the ethics & Compliance function (which now under AIC / Audit Integrity Compliance department), he still worked closely with the AIC department for any compliance / ethics matters.He is also active in IPA’s Regulatory Affairs Committee (RAC), and he was the lead individual in RAC in handling the PI 10% matters which was a major concern for the oil and gas Industries. After few years of effort in discussing and collaborating with Ditjen Migas along with SKK Migas, a new Minister Decree was issued in 2022 (Kepmen 223) which functioned as a clear implementation guidance for Permen 37/2016.Medco is a multinational company based in Indonesia and has diverse business activities across the industries. Effective since end of November 2016 the company's name changed to Medco E&P Natuna Ltd.Since legally he works in the same company/entity since 2013, the nature of his job in Medco E&P Natuna Ltd in principle is the same. However, now the activities are more focus / specific to the offshore operations only and managing the people within his department. Being appointed as Sr. Mgr Legal & Ethics (act) since November 21, 2016, he manages the Legal & Ethics Department which consist of Lawyers and Ethics officer. Related to legal matters, besides supervising the lawyers, he also actively review any agreements or arrangement between the company and counterpart/partner. The Ethics function is not just to investigate ethics issue but also to create awareness to the employee on the importance to adhere with the prevailing rules and policies and also the internal policies / code of conduct.   Reporting to : General Manager On January 1st 2023, he is assigned to JOB Pertamina – Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi (“JOB Tomori”) as a secondee. His new assignment is to lead the Legal and Land Matters Department in such Joint Operating Body. The main role of Chief Legal is to provide advice and strategy related to legal and/or land matters to the management, and also to lead, supervise and provide guidance to his subordinate. Although he join JOB Tomori in January 2023, he had indirect involvement to JOB Tomori since early 2020, particularly when JOB Tomori request for the Production Sharing Contract Extension / PSC Extension to the government of Indonesia. Such PSC Extension was successfully granted in 2022, and shall become effective on December 2027 for another 20 years.JOB Pertamina - Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi is a joint operating body between Pertamina Hulu Energi / PHE Tomori Sulawesi, Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi and Tomori E&P Limited. Such Joint Operating Body is currently the operator in the day to day activities of the Senoro – Toili block.
