  Managed and co-coordinated the provision of an access network infrastructure (planning) service to expand and improve the Telkom access network to meet customer demand and business targets. The cable infrastructure included optic fibres, standard copper cables and z-screen cables. As part of my management duties, I had to draw up and manage budgets (operational and capital). Many HR and personnel functions were my responsibility as we operated on a Managers’ Desktop system. This entailed capturing and maintaining data relating to all forms of leaves, overtime, special awards and study programmes.
