Music supervisor for "la femme nikita" (the orginal series)

La Femme Nikita, was a series that still means a lot to television as we know it today. The female heroine, her strength, her beauty and her innocence and intelligence. Unknown to her "selected" for an underground operation, called Section one. Her non-understanding of why slowly unravells throughout it's five year run. Michael, (Roy Dupuis) depicted as the most awesome man alive, becomes her trainer. A man, every guy would love to be for at least a minute. This show was my first. It had everything and the music was just part of it. But it did play an important role, of deceit, love, danger, disillusionment, strength, power the list goes on and on. It was a distance travelled musically for me. "La Femme Nikita" was a journey... of complete discovery. Show less

Music supervisor for "mutant x" (television series)

Licensed music. But this time fell into a different dilemma.... To create music for the show. I found a group of young composers. And asked them to replace my original selected music, because of budget constraints. I wanted to develop more of the characters personal afflictions with their new found powers. Imagine, being human and being given great power and be a termed a 'freak' to use it. So Mutant X was born, and needed a leader-mentor (John Shea) to help them use their powers for good.It worked out perfectly, all the action sequences, sounded great, the licensed music rocked. The main title was powerful and demonstrated how much fun this series was going to be. Show less

Music supervisor for "24" (tv series)

Licensed music that accurately described what teenagers would be listening to. Rather than what was "Top ten" at the time. It was a show based "within" realtime, Each episode was an hour within "that" particular day. Every location, provided a new an exciting opportunity musically. "24" demonstrated the "infinite" possibilities of music in a dramatic television series. The music played the current danger the young adults found themselves in. Every "composition" synchronized the ramifications of their actions. Like each script, There was an underlying message.... What the potential candidate for Presidency of the US wanted for the United States, and what CTU was willing to do to stop the threat of his assassination. I personally think it is and was, one of the greatest shows ever created for television. The beauty of simplicity. Show less

Music supervisor for "playmakers" television series

I was the music supervisor. I licensed, Canadian Hip-Hop, American Hip Hop. Canadian rock indie bands, classical music to demonstrate the finesse of football. ESPN was great to work for on my end. And oh yeah, I worked Saturdays too, because I believed in what we as a crew were trying to create in Canada. A series based on the reality of sports and the reality of their daily lives. Another great show, I was proud to be part of.
