  Financial Risk ManagementUnder the Financial Risk Management (FRM) services, Reinan led various engagements such as Philippine Financial Reporting Standard 9 (PFRS9) Gap Analysis and Model Building, Preparation of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) document, and Financial Modelling and Analysis.During PFRS9 GAP Analysis and Model Building project, his team was tasked for the impairment phase of the engagement which assessed the PFRS 9 implementation’s impact while identifying the gaps in the bank processes, data infrastructure, and other PFRS 9 related information systems such as credit initiation systems, loan system, etc. In addition, his team built Expected Credit Losses (ECL) models using client’s historical default data and significant macroeconomic factors which will use by the bank in the calculation of impairment in compliance with PFRS.For the ICAAP document project, his team handled the development of a financial model and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) forecasting which integrated various assumptions such as macroeconomic factors, economic stress scenarios and other applicable regulatory requirements.Lastly for the Financial Modelling and Analysis project, Reinan handled the preparation of a consultancy report which assisted the client for its capital restructuring decision in compliance with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC)’s public offering requirements. The report is composed of 2 equity impact scenarios: Merging with different distribution utilities, and Creation of a Holding company. He handled various banking clients which is focused on implementing the Balance Sheet Manager Solution that automates the calculations of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and its model parameters such as Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), Exposure at Default (EAD), Credit Conversion Factor (CCF), and Credit Quality Stage (CQS), in compliance with the IFRS9 accounting standards and central bank’s regulations.
