      Joining my associate professors from the university, I was part of the Standard Investment Group for 5 years, in which I took various financial roles like portfolio analyst, equity research analyst, execution trader of equity and debt. Operating on various emerging markets stock exchanges. During those years, I got certifications and permits to operate as a broker at Xetra, Bulgarian Stock Exchange, Financial Authorities’ Commission, etc. During those 5 years, I rediscovered and actively pursued my passion for IT. Thus, some of the roles and projects I took included automation of operations with VB macros developments, web site development for the corporate website and active involvements with the R&D around automated trading algorithms for a hedge product we launched in the fall of 2010. What I learned in this role were valuable lessons on risk management, methodical discipline, coping with stress, and process optimization and automation, which led to my natural transition to the world of programming. Founded and led the success engineering team within Telerik. The goal was to guarantee the successful delivery of Sitefinity projects through complete project lifecycle guidance and supervision. As a sales engineer, my focus was building bespoke solutions for customers. Through constant interactions during and after the evaluation phase, my main concern was to set the right expectations on the product capabilities and guide the teams to ensure that those expectations are met. I was conducting solution feasibility assessments and designing high level architecture to identify the challenges ahead of any given project and interact with key stakeholders to address those challenges.
