  The Back Bay Projects mission is to empower the people of Bocas Del Toro, Panama through vocational education in the field of hospitality while also supporting a culture of sustainable community-led eco-tourism. I led this project from concept to execution, including research & development, business formation, budgeting, fundraising, marketing, curriculum development, hiring, and managing volunteers and interns. In our first year of instruction, we were able to suscessfully recruit, train, and certify 14 local students in several areas of the hospitality industry, including Food, Beverage, Front Office, Hotel Operations, Cultural Preservation, and Sustainable Tourism.
