      Summer Research Intern - Applications of ChatGPT

      Worked on a research paper titled - "Investigating the Impact of Prompt Resolution and Complexity on the Language Translation Accuracy of Large Language Models - a Case Study of Generative Pre-trained Transformer - GPT 3.5" under Dr. V. Mary Anita Rajam, Professor, Dept of CSE, CEG, Anna University. Presented the paper at the renowned 7th International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Data Science.The research work provided a comprehensive view on the translation accuracy of GPT 3.5 across multiple language pairs: English to Hindi, Hindi to English, Tamil to English, and English to Tamil, higlighting the fact that carefully crafted prompts can significantly enhance the quality of GPT 3.5 translations, demonstrating the promising potential of this approach for boosting machine translation performance. The overall analysis revealed that optimization of prompt design strategies can unlock the full potential of GPT-3.5 and other LLMs for high-fidelity language translation, furthering the boundaries of machine intelligence and its impact on global communication in future.
