  I was Public Relations Manager at Mt Olivet for three years. I organised publicity, media, communications, photography, compiled annual reports, organised fund-raising events such as the annual charity race day at Beaudesert and also collaborated with the Rotary Club to organise and fund raise through the Mt Olivet Bed Appeal.

  I was head-hunted to help re-build the sagging performance of Business Sydney newspaper soon after it had been sold and restructured.I was offered the position of Editor which I declined, preferring to stick with field reporting, investigative journalism and having something of a private life. After six months, a personal relocation and a relocation of the main offices from Neutral Bay to Sydney CBD I was offered a position as national editor for Thomson Reuters in their Manly offices from April/May 1999.
