  Volvo Cars was on an exciting journey to implement a data mesh based data architecture. I had the opportunity to work as intern in the data platforms team. I mainly worked on data contracts to facilitate data exchange between parties in the company and reviewed usage of business intelligence platforms.Key achievements included:- Developed a cloud application to monitor business insight platforms usage that resulted in 50-60% license cost savings potential.- Designed an implementation proposal for Data Contracts and demonstrated feasibility by implementing a Proof of Concept of the full framework, guardrails and automatic data validation functionality.
