HR Data Quality Desk Assistant (Placement Year)

Whilst completing my year’s placement on the HR Data Quality Desks my main responsibilities were to monitor and look after the HR Systems within Surrey Police. I ensured that the Duty Management Systems, Training Administration System and Human Resource Management System were all correct and the information was pulling through from one system to the other correctly. I worked closely with ICT to ensure that all systems were working correctly and also worked with the duties teams creating rotas for their system. In addition, I worked closely with the Human Resource Planning Team, creating specific posts for individuals and ensuring that these posts were all correct and up to date. Many people within the Human Resource Service Centre from all desks would come to me for advice on the Human Resource Management System. During my time on the desk, I also helped the local duties administrator with some of their day to day tasks, creating individuals rotas and ensuring that their Annual Leave was correct for the year Show less

It was my responsibility to ensure all clearances were made, so that when an intake became available we had people ready to come into the role straight away. It was important to have regular contact with the individuals within the pool to ensure that them that they had not been forgotten and to give them an update as much as possible to the time frame it could be until there was another intake.
