  Particle therapy treatment offers balistic and biological enhancement which are really appealing for the treatment of deep-seated and/or radioresistant tumours.By measuring induced beta plus activity during the irradiation, it is theoretically possible to provide reliable measurement of the treatment quality assurance, from the balistic point of view. My PhD aimed at studying such induced radioactivity and the way to measure it in order to develop a detector suitable under clinical environment. Show less

  My position at Laboratoire de Physique Corpusculaire consisted in developing medical imaging devices dedicated to particle therapy treatment ballistic control. More precisely, I worked on the development of a PET detector including the instrumentation chain (fast analogue sampling electronics, SCA based), the DAQ programs (real-time, C++), the data analysis programs (ROOT, C++), the Monte Carlo modellings (GEANT4, GATE, C++) and the data reconstruction algorithms (MLEM method mainly, C++). A second aspect of this project consisted in interfacing such R&D programs with clinical experts. Show less

  Vascular imaging is widely used for neurology, cardiology, oncology and orthopedic surgery. The main issue of such imaging techniques remains to address the best trade-off between image quality and dose, in order to provide the best clinical treatment without any deleterious side effects. My current position aims to develop methods and techniques to improve image quality of such real time imaging devices.

The next generation of X-ray imaging is the single photon counting based approach paving the way for high Flux x ray spectral imaging. At Multix we are designing and manufacturing very high performance X-ray spectral detectors for airport security and NDT applications. I am very proud to be a part of this company.   My position at Fresenius Kabi consisted in leading R&D projects aiming at releasing new Agilia Connect infusion pumps (syringe pumps and volumetric pumps) interoperable with our Vigilant Software Suit. As cybersecurity is one of our main concerns, I was involved in cybersecurity enhencement projects ensuring we are providing state of the art cybersafe products to our customers. In cooperation with Marketing, I define project schedules, projects budget and project resources, in ISO 13485 environnent. I am accountable for providing deliverables for each project milestones, reporting to the R&D and PMO directors, working in close connection with the head of Agilia range. I am also promoting agile approach, focusing on SCRUM implementation to deliver faster, driven by simplicity and efficiency. One of my best significant achievement was to contribute to get Agilia Connect pumps 510(k) cleared, leading cybersecurity workpackage. Show less
