1998 - 2000Bachelor's Degree Radio and Television 3.7I went to SFSU and got a degree in Radio and Television with an emphasis in Audio Production. In addition to doing audio I was exposed to working in TV studios, video capture and editing, TV production aesthetics, audio for theater, and a whole lot of writing. My degree from SFSU gave me a good base line of knowledge about a wide breadth of technology that my experience is based on today.

Sept 1997 - Jun 1999Radio Board OpI was board op and engineer for an online radio station. I was tasked with establishing streams, maintaining the auto play system for spots and ads, editing interviews, wrangling guests and hosts, and maintaining the studio.

Jun 1999 - Jan 2001Audio Department ManagerI managed an audio/QC department for a cutting edge phone portal company. I oversaw a team of 5 engineers in editing and supplying content for the service.

Monster Inc.
Jan 2002 - Jan 2003Account Management MonsterAs an Account Manager for Monster Cable I was responsible for handing quite a few national pro audio accounts. On a daily basis I would enter orders for some of the biggest music retailers in the US. In addition to order entry I also did first line technical support to our pro audio customers which included troubleshooting problems by phone, arranging replacement equipment when needed, and working with engineering when the problems got beyond a bad setup or a failed cable. Part of this position was managing AR when accounts were behind and working with them when they got behind. Great role to have learned customer service from.
