  During the 2 month internship, I was able to study the working of the boiler and the 250 MW single shaft turbine installed at the plant. I got the opportunity to have an understanding of the various steps involved before and after the actual production, such as flue gas desulphurization and handling the ash treatment to further produce fine and coarse ash which could be used for cement production, etc.
