  Started working with the Developmentally Disabled community as a part time job during college. Became full time after college. Began as direct care staff at the League School of Greater Boston working with teenagers with Autism in a residential facility. Tasks included assisting the clientele with daily living skills, medication administration, health care monitoring, and helping with IEPs (Individual Education Plans).

  Managed a residential facility of 15 staff members and 5 clients.Experienced in dealing with governmental regulations, scheduling/budgeting, and managing interpersonal relationships/conflict resolution.Also experienced in managing computer systems/IT. Responsible for recruitment and hiring of new staff members and represented the company at job fairs. Supervisory position where I oversaw a team of 4 staff, while continuing direct care of adults with developmental disabilities. Recruited by management to begin working with adults with developmental disabilities in a residential facility. Quickly elevated to supervisory position.
