  Oversee a hybrid Long Term Disability team of 9, which consists of 4 Benefit Specialist and 5 Benefit Coordinators. Worked as a member of management to provide long and short term coverage to Directors. Managed the initial liability stage Long Term Disability claims. This involved assessing eligibility (contractual, medical, vocational, financial, etc.) of claims. Additionally, mentoring our newest employees and being a leader in several different projects. Based on my high performance, I was an attendee of Unum’s Employees Recognition Conference, Aspire, in 2010, 2014, 2016. Completed annual reviews on complex claims.
