  Nic&Mic distribueert de kleurrijke en duurzame kunstwerken van de sociale onderneming Ocean Sole. Ocean Sole voorkomt milieuvervuiling en creëert werkgelegenheid door Keniaanse kunstenaars in te zetten om honderdduizenden weggegooide teenslippers om te toveren in o.a. neushoorns, giraffen en leeuwen. Ik werkte mee aan het organiseren en uitvoeren van promotie op evenementen, het schrijven van nieuwsbrieven, blogs, facebook posts en ander promotiemateriaal, het overbrengen van het duurzame verhaal op potentiële (zakelijke) klanten en het onderzoeken van mogelijkheden om de naamsbekendheid te vergroten.   Tour Manager

  Als zzp'er ben ik aan de slag gegaan als Tour Manager bij de voorstelling Dit Is Geen Theater. Deze voorstelling was onderdeel van een educatieve leerlijn en tourde langs theaters in de provincie Utrecht en langs scholen in Almere. Tijdens de tour was ik contactpersoon tussen theaters en scholen en het theatergezelschap, en was ik verantwoordelijk voor logistiek, de begeleiding rondom de voorstelling en op- en afbouw van decor.

  Young & Fair

  The foundation Young & Fair organises events and acitivites to make youth and young professionals more aware about sustainability and fair consuming. With the rest of the board I developed the foundation's strategy an plans, and supervised around 90 volunteers. I was responsible for HR and Communications, and directed two project teams. I was part of the project team that organised and went on Young & Fair's first trip to investigate the working of fair trade. 15 young people went to Nepal with the goal to research the impact of fair trade and document this in blogs, vlogs and a documentary. I was responsible for logistics, planning & finances, and assisted with the (post) production of the documentary. After the trip, we organised a premiere event in the Kinepolis movie theatre in Utrecht.

  Nic&Mic is the European distributor of Ocean Sole, an organisation in Kenya that upcycles flip flops to colorful pieces of art. Every piece stands for cleaner oceans, creating employment opportunities and promoting sustainable art. Now Nic&Mic is expanding their collection with other sustainable upcycle products.I supported Nic&Mic with sales & marketing activites to make the organisation more known and persuade companies and people to become an ambassador. I created an inspirational sales magazine and organised participation at congresses and festivals. Show less

  Fawaka Ondernemersschool (Fawaka Entrepreneurship school) creates educational programmes for youth about sustainable entrepreneurship. They focus on children that have little access to extra curricular activities, and make a stand to be inclusive and represent children of all backgrounds. My job was to coordinate all communications. I helped shape and execute the overall strategy, organised participation in events with workshops and presentations, and maintained relationships with schools and other parties. Show less

  I write poetry and spoken word, mostly in Dutch. But also short stories and song lyrics. I share pieces of my work on Facebook and Instagram (@lijntjeschrijft), and my website www.myrthenauta.com (in Dutch). I also perform spoken word on events. Ik schrijf poëzie en spoken word teksten, maar ook korte verhalen en songteksten. Ik deel stukken van mijn werk op Facebook en Instagram (@lijntjeschrijft) en op mijn website www.myrthenauta.com. Ik treed ook op met spoken word op evenementen.
