  Senior Process Engineer on a Crude oil Condensate Stabilization ProjectThis project is based on a crude oil condensate stabilization project received from LNG plant to Bonny Oil and Gas Terminal. 40,000 barrels/day of the crude oil condensate is delivered to a slug catcher at a pressure of 67 bar and a temperature of 25.4°C. The processing includes stabilizing the condensate and subsequently transporting it to the export terminal.In this project, I was responsible for;Designing and optimizing the process for stabilizing crude oil condensate to meet the required product specifications while adhering to safety and environmental standards.Developed and validated process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).Conducted sizing calculations for essential equipment including pressure control valves, medium and high-pressure valves, and pumps.Created and reviewed sizing calculation notes for all relevant equipment, ensuring accurate and effective process control.Developed control strategies for stabilization units, including pressure and temperature control systems.Generated control valve sizing calculations and integrated them into the overall process control system.Created and refined Emergency Shutdown (ESD) logic diagrams and Safe Charts to ensure reliable system safety.Actively participated in safety studies, including HAZID (Hazard Identification) and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Studies), contributing to comprehensive risk assessments.Ensured all process designs adhered to stringent safety regulations and industry standards.Documentation and Reporting Show less
