      Western Regional Sales Manager

As Western Regional Sales Manager at Diversified Products (DP Fit For Life), my responsibilities included the management of a distribution facility in Southern CA. along with the management of both a direct and indirect sales force covering the western U.S. Responsibilities also included international sales and distribution to Hawaii. When Roadmaster purchased DP, I was hired by a Rep Firm out of Chicago and moved back to Minneapolis, to cover Target for Roadmaster Corp. Then I was subsequently hired by Stamina Products, Inc. when Roadmaster closed operations in bikes and fitness. I have been with Stamina Products, Inc. from that point on, Show less

      Regional Sales Manager

Key Account Sales Management. My background with retail began with store management and later with territory and key account sales management to brick and mortar. My most recent experience comes from the evolution of online retail and accomplishments with Amazon.com among the many accounts that I have helped to develop, from Minneapolis to the West Coast. I've been enriched by my retail experiences dating back to the 70's and have seen and worked thru the evolution of retail from department store, to the mass merchant, to specialty fitness, to sporting goods small & big box and finally to online retail. Retail is still retail. The consumer is still the boss. The game has changed significantly with the advent of new technology and its impact on consumer buying behavior. We used to measure foot traffic; today we measure eyes as we work to gain the consumer's trust and confidence. I'm amazed at how much has changed but how retail is still retail. The biggest challenge in remaining relevant to the retail community, hinges on adaptation to the processes that allow 'eyes' to connect with your brand and driving traffic to the value proposition. Top line is essential but so is bottom line. Strategies that address both of those components are critical to remaining relevant in the eyes of the retailer you plan to partner with. Adaptation is key! The game is changing at a much faster pace than ever before. Show less
