  During this challenging time for our economy, many faced the possibility of home foreclosure. The Nevada legislature implemented the Foreclosure Mediation Program. I was appointed and served at the pleasure of the Nevada Supreme Court as a foreclosure mediator for the Program. I conducted several dozen foreclosure mediations between the homeowner and the bank during the time this program was active in the State of Nevada. These mediations were requested by the parties and assigned by the Foreclosure Mediation Program of the State of Nevada. I handled all case management for these mediations as well. It was an honor to serve the Court, the State, and members of my community in a role that brought lasting resolution for so many parties during a time of uncertainty. Show less

  I had the opportunity to assist Nancy Gabriel in establishing this start up business. She was eager to launch a company that could serve the needs of those in conflict - particularly those facing the end of their marriage. I assisted her in establishing the administrative and logistical functions as well as the philosophical approach for the mediation practice. I developed the marketing campaigns and served as co-mediator for several divorce mediation clients. It was a great honor to assist in launching a business dedicated to helping those in need of conflict resolution. The time came for me to let Nancy continue on her own, but I look upon this project with great fondness knowing that this was a great endeavor in helping bring just a little more peace to what can be a traumatically difficult circumstance.
