  In the project entitled “Enhancing Green Economy in 3 countries of Asia (EGEA)’’, the role of LPU has been specified under WP 6 (6.3 w.e.f. Jan 15, 2019) organization of promotional campaigns and enrollment of students in new courses/programs and adult learners in green labs training programs and in WP 7 (7.1 to 7.3 w.e.f. Jan 15, 2019) to assist OVGU in development of project management tools, organization of project management meetings, and Financial administrative follow up and reporting to EGEA.The relevance of the project in India, is envisaged in line to meet certain sustainability development goals, being promoted by the Indian Govt. for which policies are being implemented by higher education institutions by incorporating the courses relating to green economy and environmental sustainability.
