  A weekly newspaper feature that appeared in the Washington Times. Single panels gave instructions on how to create home made toys with easily found supplies. Ahead of its time, the current MAKE movement is inspiring me to return to this side business and rework a graphic(novel, book?) proposal that Wiley had expressed some interest in.

  Organized annual speaker series on topics regarding special education for gifted and talented learning disabled students (GTLD). Speaker series was attended by professionals, teachers, and parents. Co-created and personally loaded http://gtldnet.org/ a premier source for information on GTLD education.Lobbied on behalf of GTLD students in Montgomery County Public Schools.In my time as President, I helped shift the speaker series from the lectures series it had been for thirty years to a more interactive workshop model. I guided the GTLD Network transition from volunteer organization with a very few committed people to an active board and larger organization. Show less
