Reduced by 35% square footage for 2 products by creating a layout that improved material flow and maximized area usage. Responsible for planning, driving and executing Kaizen events. Warehouse layout optimization by decreasing distance*frequency for overall operational efficiency Designed an efficient pick path and implemented it in the Warehouse Management System. Collected data to create simulation of future warehouseExecuted project to eliminate missing Country of Origin documentation by developing and implementing a streamlined process to address immediate need to retrieve required documentation for shipments. Decreased issues by 90% in 3 months. Used a predetermined standard time system to evaluate warehouse operational processes in order to forecast workforce needs using the number of pick tickets for a ~100 employee operation. Show less
