      Independently conducts compliance reviews, new entrant motor carrier safety audits, and inspections of non-hazardous material commercial motor carrier operations and equipment (e.g. insurance requirements, operating authority, driver qualifications, hours of service, drug and alcohol testing, commercial drivers license (CDL)/operator license, and maintenance records). Travel to perform safety audits, compliance reviews, and driver/vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulatory requirements.
