  I wrote a thesis about genetic and environmental influences on the stability of autistic traits during childhood at the department of Biological Psychology for the bachelor Health Sciences. I used a longitudinal quantitative twin design, and analyzed the data with OpenMx, a structural equation modeling package of the statistical program R.In addition, I assisted with some daily work at the department, for instance telephone parents of twins registered at Netherlands Twin Register about new studies.   Case study of lay health volunteers’ acceptability of the psychosocial intervention "Friendship Bench" for women who experienced a maternal near miss (women who had a life-threatening complication that occurred during pregnancy, delivery or within 42 days after delivery), in Zanzibar, Tanzania. I explored the perspectives of the lay health volunteers by conducting 7 semi-structured interviews with 11 lay health volunteers and two participative focus groups with 12 lay health volunteers.
