  As the undergraduate lab coordinator, I interview applicants for research assistant positions. I onboard new research assistants so they have the resources to succeed and be productive in the lab. I orient research assistants to lab structure and tasks to contribute to lab efficiency and organization. I delegate research tasks to fellow lab assistants to complete research requests timely and efficiently. As a writing tutor, I tutor students in writing techniques to improve their writing and themselves as writers. I communicate details of needed revisions directly and indirectly to facilitate understanding for clients. I listen actively to clients to ensure their needs are addressed in the tutoring session. I guide clients with indirect questions to help them find their voice as a writer.
