  • Research and development of rehabilitation techniques for steep high altitude landscapes • Contract management of multi-million dollar contracts coordinating and managing the procurement process, work programs and OH&S requirements for contractors and NPWS staff. • Annual budget planning to comply to a multi-disciplinary project. Long term budget management with projected expenditure over a 5 to 10 year period. • Technical supervision and management of weed management programs, seed picking, plant production, rehabilitation of sites, planting and maintenance of the Former Snowy Scheme Sites. • Stakeholder management with compliance and communication with multiple stakeholders in KNP including Snowy Hydro Limited, Transgrid, ski resorts, Country Energy and other sectors of NPWS. • Multi-disciplinary skills with experience and representation in radio, newspaper, professional presentations, magazine articles, training booklets and courses and on-line media. • Preparation of Reviews of Environmental Factors for the Former Snowy Scheme Sites rehabilitation project. This encompasses an investigation of all the legislation that governs activities in national parks such as the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974. • Provision of information for the KNP Plan of Management. Assistance in review of this planning document, particularly relating to ecological rehabilitation, but also of the general use of this document within the Southern Ranges Region. • Participation and contribution to many areas of ecological management in the Australian Alps such as the Weeds of National Significance program, habitat creation for threatened species - the Mountain Pygmy Possum and the Southern Corrobboree Frog, author of a Rehabilitation Field Guide that has been rolled out across the Australian Alps, the successful relocation of alpine bog vegetation at Perisher ski resort, as examples.   Alpine Flora has existed for over 10 years but has only been partially operational as I worked full time for the public service. With my extensive experience in high altitude rehabilitation and multiple associated projects in the Alpine National Park in Victoria and Kosciuszko National Park in NSW my ecological skills are now available for a range of contracts, tenders and approvals for government and private businesses operating in the Australian Alps and temperate zones of NSW and Victoria.

  I work as a consultant to Snowy Hydro Limited in high altitude ecological rehabilitation, mostly in relation to the Snowy 2.0 project. To date, the rehabilitation of the exploratory drill sites and high level advice to the Snowy 2.0 Rehabilitation Strategy have been my main roles.
