      President of the Florida Forensic League (the State Speech & Debate Association). Achievements/Tasks:Membership - As the overseer of the annual membership drive, I handle tasks such as setting up digital membership with SpeechWire, creating membership documents for coaches, ensuring schools meet deadlines, and recruiting new programs across the state. For the current season, we have 96 programs participating in FFL.Communication - As the league President, I keep members informed and engaged with the league's activities! Utilizing email distribution lists and social media (IG and Twitter were created in 2022) is an effective way to disseminate information and develop a sense of community within our league. Since 2019, we have held virtual meetings for members who cannot attend in person.Tournaments - FFL holds four tournaments annually: Regionals (7 unique regions), Varsity State, Novice State, and Middle School State, which I organize and manage. Tournament management includes creating the invitations, setting up the tabulation software, working with the treasurer to order trophies, and ensuring monies are received, inviting other coaches to participate in the tab process.Website Management - I manage the Florida Forensic League's website, ensuring a user-friendly experience for visitors. I Implement design enhancements and content updates using Elementor, resulting in improved aesthetics and functionality. I collaborate with our Board of Directors to integrate innovative features and maintain the site's relevance in the dynamic digital landscape. I conduct regular site audits to identify and address potential issues, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.Awards - State Coach of the Year 2008, Regional Coach of the Year 2023.
