      2010· Facilitated auditions which required me to contact and provide all necessary information and materials to interested applicants, update the website with audition information and upload audition excerpts, sign in applicants on the day of the audition, and assist with the auditions.· As the main liaison between the music director and the symphonic musicians, I coordinated rehearsal and performance schedules as well as collecting and maintaining all necessary hiring and payroll paperwork.· Maintained consistent communication with symphony players through email and phone calls.· Challenged to recruit and hire additional musicians to perform Holst's The Planets, a major symphonic work scored for large orchestral forces, I conducted recruitment efforts with minimal financial resources resulting in hiring 15 additional musicians and 28 substitutes.· Conducted email marketing using Constant Contact to over 1000 subscribers for the Symphony of the Southwest with as many as 1000+ attendees at performances.       2011· For the over 100 applicants to the Juilliard Doctoral Program, I entered, tracked, and organized all incoming audition materials for applicants to the DMA program and had direct phone and email communication with applicants regarding any outstanding required materials or questions about their admission status.· Assisting in this year's 2011 music auditions, I created spreadsheets in excel of the audition schedule for the eight days of auditions of over 1300 applicants for the Juilliard faculty.· As a team player, I worked with and supported the Associate Dean of Admissions and other staff members in office tasks in addition to working with and delegating responsibility to work-study students in the admissions office.· Using the Embark Application manager, I entered and processed all incoming transcripts, letters of recommendation, prescreening tapes, and essays, and I verified all print and online data of applicants, which numbered over 13,000 applications this year.· As coverage for the reception area, I answered phone calls and responded to inquiries about the Juilliard college program and provided information regarding application and audition procedures and confirmed applicant status regarding audition date and tracked materials.Symphony of the Southwest Show less
