  First ever high school intern at Benzinga, a business news company with the goal of becoming the "#1 Place for Investing and Wealth Building." My internship revolved around crafting daily articles covering a variety of business, political, and special interest topics using sources including regulatory filings, equity research, and 3rd party economic data. Additionally, during the summer I published an in-depth article about Amazon's impact on my hometown of Syosset, NY as they sought millions in tax-breaks from the town. Finally, during the capstone project I was tasked with formulating a template to help automate the flow of Congressional trading records to Benzinga website. After I wrote the template, it was later converted into code to allow articles to be published using artificial intelligence.Overall, my internship at Benzinga provided me with invaluable corporate experience as a high schooler which I hope to implement to any future professional experiences. I was selected from over 140 applicants to a five week professional development program alongside 34 of my peers. During those five weeks, the pledge class and I learned how to improve our resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and interview skills as well as how to network in a professional setting.
