  Alex Potter is a photographer and journalist from the Midwest working mostly in the Middle East. Her work explores conflict and trust, loss and isolation within communities and relationships. Alex aims to bridge the gap between the foreign and familiar by creating thought-provoking and emotional images. While not photographing, she is either fighting wildfires, working as a nurse, or running.

One of the key organizational developers of the non-profit, Alex worked as a Team Leader, Quality Assessment Officer, and team lead RN for during GRM's mission to Iraq running Trauma Stabilization Points during the Battle for Mosul.Currently she serves as the Vice President of the Board and the Director of Communications, as well as the head of the Communications Committee.
