  • The internship gave me exposure to the working environment of organization like Ashok Leyland Limited. The internship was concentrated mostly on the Manufacturing processes involved in the production of Gear Boxes.• Gave me the opportunity to correlate my theoretical knowledge with its practical Applications and witness the functioning of various shops working in a coordinated manner to manufacture Gear Boxes with a time targeted approach. • In my brief stay of 15 days at Bhandara Unit, I had the opportunity to visit all the four shops in the Unit and learn about their manufacturing processes and the gear box assembly line where the Gear Boxes are manufactured.• While working in the Plant I had an opportunity to see the use of production improvement principles such as Poka Yoke and the 5S principle to achieve higher productivity and production which will improve the working standards of the company and help derive pleasure and satisfaction out of working.
