  I mix, edit and engineer Hip-Hop vocals (pretty exclusively for Rich Quick and Charlie Blaze.) Most of the time, an artist will send me the acapella layers of their track and then the instrumental separately. Then I do whatever I do. Most of the muscle memory is the same, but the music is different every time. I try to make the vocals+instrumental mix as good as I possibly can.
