  The Bob Graham Center Civic Scholars Program provides a selected pool of students the opportunity to engage in a semester long research project focused on issues facing the state of Florida. The spring 2023 topic was "Artificial Intelligence in Society". This program provided me insight into the world of academic research under the supervision of a mentor, Throughout the semester I collaborated with a partner to conduct an in depth semi-systematic literature review. By the end of the semester, I successfully authored a 16 page research report titled "The Use of AI in screening for Neurodevelopmental Disabilities". My partner and I presented and successfully defended our findings at the Bob Graham Center 2023 Research Symposium. Show less
