      I am serving one of the key roles in the company’s growth and having the influence of being the key voice in the company for implementing BSS/ OSS strategy and best practices for a turnkey platform with a focus on Prepaid product development and deployment. My role also involves managing the implementation and delivery of business programs and projects. I am responsible for facilitating deliverables (planning and architecture) required to prepare the marketing campaign of new products and services, and aligning marketing processes to promote current and new products to customers. I also provide expert level support to the regional team during and after the rollout & migration of the new convergent Billing Platform. This role saw me manage major network infrastructure projects including working with vendor in installation of new technologies and testing processes from planning through execution, and substantially increasing productivity. Show less This role involved operations and maintenance of all core systems whereby I was entrusted with the 99.99% availability of systems including convergent Billing System (cvBS), real-time Loyalty and Campaign Management System, SMSC, USSD and Voicemail. This also involved managing the implementation and delivery of business programs and projects. I was also responsible for facilitating deliverables (planning and architecture) required to prepare the marketing campaign of new products and services/ aligning marketing processes to promote current and new products to customers, as well as maintaining a 99.99% service levels for all our services. My team took the ownership to resolve complex issues within the network. We ensured that our tests systems were up to par with the production systems and all upgrades were carried in the test systems with proper regressive testing, after which it was deployed onto the production systems. Show less This role was a step up to my previous role with an added responsibility of managing and taking ownership of various Projects. It involved providing development and support in the area of Prepaid and Postpaid services. My responsibilities also included providing all required reports in the value-added section and ensuring that all procedures are documented and adhere to ISO 9002 standards. I was also responsible for the daily maintenance and day to day management of the Prepaid Platform. This included daily routines and upgrades of the system. Resolving system related issues and ensuring downtimes are kept to minimum in a controlled manner. Carrying out various upgrades across the Prepaid network which included Billing System nodes and other systems like SMSC, Voicemail and USSD.
