  In the Fixed Income Client Service Group in the Operations Department, I was responsible for booking and allocating trades, opening accounts for either existing clients or new clients, filling new client forms, sending trade confirmations to clients, taking care of fails, pre-matched and unmatched trades and assessing risks to ensure the timely settlement of the trades. One month into my internship, I was assigned a project to revise the trade confirmation workflow. This task involved not only introducing the changes at Morgan Stanley but also persuading clients to adopt the new procedures. After successfully completing the project two weeks ahead of the deadline, I was also asked to update the equity team's client database. Show less
