    • Crop Production Services

      Dec 2011 - Nov 2013
      Warehouse Manager

I went to work for Crop Production services during the summer while I was in college from 2008 to 2011 crop consulting and learning about chemicals. I completed my degree at NMSU and came to work Full time as a Application Specialist, Crop Consultant, and Warehouseman/deliveryman. I learned a lot about a myriad of different things from pesticides and the plant life and vermin they effect, to working on and around heavy equipment used to service the demanding industry that is modern day production agriculture. I left Crop Production Services several months after being promoted to Warehouse manager in search of a more lucrative position in a different field and to challenge myself to learn a new industry rather than just staying in agriculture which I grew up learning about every day. • American Safety Services, Inc.

      Nov 2013 - Oct 2018
      Field Supervisor

I started working for American Safety Services as a complete worm as the industry describes it, my limited knowledge of the oilfield would not last long. I learned a lot about a lot of different things very rapidly as a safety technician in the oilfield especially when working for a service provider, the knowledge base that you must have to be able to get up and deal with a different type of operation every day is extensive. You begin to build a foundation of knowledge and learn that one job builds upon another. Part of the job breaks down into trying to predict what a guys next move will be by using predictable human nature. The rest of the job gets pretty technical in nature and requires you to research the very nature of some of the toxic and hazardous materials that you end up working with day in and day out.
