Given the uncertainty of future events and the complex interrelated nature of pension systems, projection methods and models are crucial for empowering policy-makers in design and monitoring. The aim of this course was to enhance the capacity of participants to use projection methods, develop actuarial models and build their own country-specific model based on the generic model of the ILO.
