It is ranked at world 212 in the year 2012 as per www.topuniversities.com .I was in a contractual appointment as a Teaching Assistant in IIT Delhi. Being a TA, I assisted Prof. Dr. S.K.Atreya, Chief Design Engineer in a project for redesign of the Delhi Police Patrol Vehicle. I also directed, maintained and lead the project 'Design , Development and Maintenance of M.Des Website for IIT Delhi' with a team size of 17 throughout my tenure as a TA under the kind guidance of Prof. Sumer Singh.As a part of the curriculum 'Technology Alternatives for Rural Development', I implemented a project for Prof. Dr. V. M. Chariar titled 'Bamboo lamp' where in I designed and developed a bamboo lamp for the urban lifestyle. Processes included concept generation, sketching, CAD modelling, specification document making(blueprints), implementation with bamboo processing machines. During the implementation phase I took the help of the lab assitants and workers of the Micromodel Complex, IIT Delhi and am very grateful to them to help me out in implementing this project successfully. Indian Students for Technical Education Aug 2007 ISTE(Indian Students for Technical Education) is a national body under Govt. of India to promote science and technology in India. Goshawk is a national technical festival organized by ISTE chapter of Vidharb region of India. The problem statement was to make a working prototype of a sustainable mode of transport. Raw materials given were four rubber wheels, plastic gears, plastic axles, plastic sheets, plastic rods, aluminium wire, bread board, electronic components, 12 dc motors, battery, glue… Show more ISTE(Indian Students for Technical Education) is a national body under Govt. of India to promote science and technology in India. Goshawk is a national technical festival organized by ISTE chapter of Vidharb region of India. The problem statement was to make a working prototype of a sustainable mode of transport. Raw materials given were four rubber wheels, plastic gears, plastic axles, plastic sheets, plastic rods, aluminium wire, bread board, electronic components, 12 dc motors, battery, glue , toolkit, g etc. I, along with team member Rahul Aggarwal, made an aircraft, powered by DC motor and having a wing span of 3.8 feet. One motor was responsible for providing the forward thrust during take off and another dc motor did the propelling. The aircraft had the capability to glide without power and also power up the propellers for gaining altitude. It was chosen as the 1st prize winning entry based of best usage of available resources, stability, power consumption and reliability. Show less

The contestants were asked to create a poster measuring 12 inches X 24 inches. The theme of the poster was sustainable growth for a better environment.

Raw materials were supplied to each team to build the vessel. Me and team member Rahul Aggarwal built a sailboat applying the concepts of newton's laws, Bernouli's theorem and the basics of Aerodynamics. The vessel we created made a record breaking coverage of 12 meters in 6.2 seconds. The Runner Up vessel covered 12 meters in 14.8 seconds. Show less

College of Engineering, Sewagram Feb 2006 Klub Infinity is a cultural commitee comprising of select students and professors of different departments of B.D. College of Engineering. Every year they organize a cultural festival in the month of February. Stood as first runner up in the debate competition held in February 2006. A total of 32 single member teams participated in the event. The event had stage wise knockout.
