R.A.P. is a Raiders Against Prejudice group at Baylor; we meet one a month to discuss issues of discrimination and prejudice in the Baylor community and the outside world. Our goal is to problem solve, create solutions, and educate. Gender Committee at Baylor is a club, that discuss's issues surrounding gender in the Baylor Community and the outside world. Community Service at Baylor entails that one must dedicate one our 4 days a week to tutor an under privileged child in the surrounding Chattanooga areas and it's public schools. Senior year; I joined Mu Alpha Theta, the math club at Baylor. Mu Alpha Theta works on problem sets, world problems, and labs and submits them into contests and competitions. Show less

      Activities and Societies: Full time day student, was a part of the Woman's Soccer and Lacrosse Team, and lastly a Husky Ambassador. Sophomore year I raised a service dog through Guiding Eyes for the Blind. A Husky Ambassador at New Hampton School is a selected group of students chosen by admissions to lead campus tours for perspective students and parents. Junior Year, while raising Sanford the Service Dog, I received two Presidential Service Awards one from The New Hampton School and one from Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

      I raised Guiding Eyes for the Blind Sanford, for Guiding Eyes for the Blind a non-profit that provides guide dogs to the visually impaired. 100% Volunteer...I did not receive any money for my services or supplies (vet bills, food, treats, toys, transportation ect.)

      My job as a children's ski instructor at Waterville Valley Resort, encompasses teaching children ages three to six how to ski, instilling proper mountain safety and beginning level lift procedures, assisting in the childcare department, maintaining the ski school terrain, cleaning, and organizing within the Mogul Mite department. My job allowed me to become familiar with, creating goals, solving problems, instilling time management, and caring for adolescents.

The size of the financial and education discrepancies by the state and government for basic female healthcare is startling. The Period Gurl Project, Corp. is committed to dispensing discreet Period Kits containing feminine pads, tampons, and sanitary wipes.
