  As part of the manufacturing team as a process technician, it was my responsibilty to manufacture reagents produced by the company following Standard Operating Procedures and Goods Manufacturing Practice. Calibrating of machines and Ph meters along with receiving of goods and raw materials also were part of my daily practice during this period. I also took responsibility in all department preparations especially document control for FDA auditing.

Utilization of a LIMS system on a daily basis and carrying out of investigations in a timely manner with the correct implementation of CAPAs. Analyses carried out in accordance with cGMP & cGLP. During my first year working at Eurofins I have diversified and mastered my laboratory skills, have been promoted, became a lead member of the 5S, lean six sigma squat team and have been presented with an “Inspire Award" for outstanding work and time contribution. Show less During my period as lab assistant I gained vast knowledge of laboratory management, responsible for glassware washing, chemical receipt, waste disposal, monitoring of stock levels for both chemistry and biopharm departments. I was responsible for maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety in the laboratory in accordance with GMP/GLP and providing support in preparation for client and regulatory audits as required.This role was also responsible for the entire stock ordering and supply of reagents, equipment and general consumables. This involved dealing with suppliers, pricing/quotations, ordering computer systems (Exchequer) and constant lead time problem solving.
