      Working in this role allowed me to gain a better understanding of what it is like to be an assistant in an art studio setting and of different art techniques and methods used. I also learnt a great amount about what it is like to be an artist working in a studio at Insight as well as what it is like to be part of an artist’s network group (NLAN). In addition to this, the experience has given me a great experience of working with young children between the ages of 5-14 and with senior members of staff such as the Director of the school. I gained a great understanding of how to aid and support the students within the classes to improve their work and understand the reasoning behind the need for improvement. Show less
