      Although I was originally employed as a receptionist, I gradually took on more duties andresponsibilities, which I enjoyed.       This role saw me learning many new and exciting skills. From chocking the wheels of aircraft,loading the luggage into the rear hold, manoeuvring the stairs, driving the tug to offload and loadbaggage and freight, to marshalling the planes in to their 'parked' position and assisting with engine start-up and departure procedures. I enjoyed these experiences immensely. My experiences at Newman Airport have proven to show that I am highly adaptable and willing to try my hand at any tasks that are given to me.       As part of the centralised Document Control team sitting in the Technical department, I managed engineering documents and drawings including Brownfields projects, Management of Change and concurrent engineering. I travelled to Houston where I was asked to take part in a workshop for a new Document Control tool. This was a fantastic experience which I will value greatly for many years to come. I have been heavily involved in the configuration and implementation of the current EDMS and I was responsible for training members of the ABU in how to use this software including how to use Brava to mark-up documents and drawings as part of a Workflow. I also ran monthly training sessions for DMS setup and searching, for new starters. Show less
