  As a Wellness Coordinator, I am responsible for developing, communicating, educating and evaluating projects and programs that promote overall health and well-being for the employees of the School District of La Crosse. With my position being located within the Human Resources office, I have been fortunate to also be cross-trained in many other areas of HR:-Manage Wellness program for the School District of La Crosse-Create and oversee wellness budget-Policy development and dissemination -Develop, communicate, and evaluate ongoing company wide programs and trainings-Seek grant funding -FMLA and Leave of Absence Coordinator-New employee onboarding and training-Coordinate multiple onsite Health Risk Assessment screenings for 15 locations and 1000+ employees-Partner with local organizations to provide, plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs such as, but not limited to:*Employee assistance program *Fitness classes*Community supported agriculture*Financial wellness seminars*Stress management workshops*Lunch and learns-Health club reimbursement program coordinator-Develop design, and update educational materials and resources on district website -WING (Wellness Insurance Group) facilitator, which develops and implements district's strategic plan for insurance and wellness initiatives-Experience with all aspects of workers compensation coordination with district employees and insurance carrier Show less
