The research examines the organizations’ compliance to the best practices, and also examines the compliance to the best practices of the organizations’ recipients as well. This… Show more • Received honors for interdisciplinary thesis on non-profit management The study depicts that the most successful organizations place heavy value in analyzing their own impact, restructuring if necessary, and maintaining a substantial focus on the morale of the people working within their organization. The research examines the organizations’ compliance to the best practices, and also examines the compliance to the best practices of the organizations’ recipients as well. This was a comparative study done between organizations large and small: namely the Creative Visions Foundation (Malibu, CA) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Seattle, WA). A separate study was done on First Foundation Advisors (Irvine, CA) to discuss what donors are currently looking for in an organization before they donate, and to conclude with what they should be looking for before they make contributions as well.
