      Best Lockdown Video Award UNE Life Oct 2020 To celebrate Wear it Purple Day, our Wellbeing officer Lydia, along with 6 volunteers in UNEMSA’s queer community, joined forces to present their take on the smash-hit ABC show, You Can’t Ask That. Aiming to address misconceptions and confusions surrounding the LGBTQIA+ community, the project started with taking anonymous question submissions from students, with no topic off-limit. Juggling two roles as Wellbeing officer and Academic Co-Convenor, Lydia has expanded existing initiatives such as Wellbeing Wednesday and the MOSCE program, as well as introducing new support measures for UNEMSA’s queer community, engaging with other universities nationwide, and providing guidance and drive to other volunteers on the committee. Juggling two roles as Wellbeing officer and Academic Co-Convenor, Lydia has expanded existing initiatives such as Wellbeing Wednesday and the MOSCE program, as well as introducing new support measures for UNEMSA’s queer community, engaging with other universities nationwide, and providing guidance and drive to other volunteers on the committee.
