Responsible for quote creation (tool used: CPQ) of all new-business opportunities aligned with assigned account managers. Also responsible for ensuring the quotes undergo proper approval hierarchy and are aligned to business case and are with-in allowable discounts level.In-case of non-standard quotes, ensuring proper term exceptions (Deployment exception, Instalment billing, special price contracts etc.) are raised (tool used: Apptus) and to facilitate and enable discussions with deal desk, product management and legal teams to understand maximum allowable discount levels and business case and ensuring all components of quotes are in-place. Creation of new-business sales opportunities and maintaining opportunity hygiene throughout sales cycle. Typical task includes ensuring correct contract value is reflected on the opportunity, updating sales stage, correct products are reflected on opportunity (required for inventory management and calculation of LOB revenues) ensuring correct information is updated in all opportunity fields etc. Participate in weekly forecasting calls with account managers (calls driven by district managers and regional VP) to discuss active/upcoming opportunities, Win-loss analysis of closed opportunities, discuss business case and seek approvals on pending quotes etc. Reconciliation of revenue/opportunities at end of each quarter for assigned account managers. Typical task includes ensuring correct revenue values are updated so correct commission (for sales reps) data is shared with finance team, various PO numbers and order numbers have been updated.
