My Informatics bachelor didn’t just increase my programming skills but also taught me about the entire software development process. I decided to take on some more tasks like maintaining websites and developing custom modules for their CMS. After my internship I stayed on as a freelance developer taking on solo projects for their new Companic Webshop.

It was my assignment to improve this existing helpdesk and inventory system. When the system was upgraded according to the assignment I added some extra improvements including new features using new, self-taught techniques.

      VDL Industrial Modules is a big company that, among other things, creates and prints a lot of blueprints. For my graduation project I build an application that could import specific data sources and search the database for all the blueprints that are printable. These files were then saved to a file with which the plotter could print these blueprints.

      Hyperlinkprijs Avans Hogeschool Breda May 2013 Hyperlink is a program created by Avans that accelerates the rate at which students are able to get their bachelor if they have already finished a relevant MBO course. It enables students to get their bachelor in only 3 years, instead of the regular four. I was named best hyperlink student because of my excellent performance and grades.

      ICT Topper 2012 ROC Eindhoven 2012 During my last year at the ROC, I was named ICT Topper of the school of ICT in Eindhoven. Commissioned by school, I built a web application that worked nicely on both the computer and phone. This application could be used by transport companies to manage packages. With this app managers could divide the packages between drivers and they would be able to use their phones to determine the route and deliver the package.
