This included the collation of existing processes, finances allocation and reporting requirements with a view to defining an improved model. A migration strategy was defined to move the data from approximately 50 projects within Remedy & Niku Workbench into the new Clarity environment

I changed my career path about 3 years ago and moved into a more PC and Laptop support role. I am currently working within the education establishment supporting around 540 PC and Laptops, with 1000 pupils and 140 Staff. I also support around 10 servers, which are virtualised under VMWare. I would also be supporting the Windows Sever 2008 r2 environment and maintaining this software.My role is a very hands-on role. Supporting Laptops and PCs and repairing where necessary. This would also include imaging as necessary, configuring and installations of software and running any diagnostics to solve problems.I am responsible for supporting Networks and switches, CORE and EDGE, with VLAN connections. This also includes both WAN and LAN. Also I support the Windows 7 environment and Microsoft Office 2010.I have experience with Active Directory (AD). Loading users and resetting passwords, and organising groups. I am also responsible for Group Policies. Setting up of the policies and maintaining them. I have a vast experience of SIMS and have completed all basic SIMS training with EIS. I am responsible for completing the periodic updates for SIMS, aswell as creating Reports, and adding new users and giving them group rights.As part of my managerial responsibilities, I have two Technicians in our team. Team work has always been in my various roles in IT, however, I am also able to organise my own time and work schedules.I am a quick learner and would be willing to take on any responsibilities that would be necessary to complete a job.
