At it's peak, this team had five staff reporting to me.Currently responsible for approx. 600 server fleet (predominantly Wintel - small percentage of Red Hat Enterprise) of which a large portion ran in a ESXi 5.5 environment. We also ran two Citrix XenApp 5 farms from which we present around 20 applications to internal and external users as well as a number of MS clusters for HA critical apps.We also had a large number of web based apps which use many IIS 6 and 7 servers.I also gained extensive experience with the HP Proliant range of servers from rack mountable servers to C7000 chassis' and blade servers.SA Water is also a very large VMWare shop, apparently one the biggest in South Australia and use several of their tools in conjunction with the ESXi Hypervisor such as VCloud Director 5.5, Site Recovery Manager 5.8, Orchestrator, Update Manager, Operations Manager.Also responsible for all storage, back up, and monitoring technologies such as HP Storageworks XP 24000, Netbackup 7.5, HP SIM, Compuware, SCOM 2012 Show less

Examples of the products range represented were the Proliant server range, Proliant blade chassis solutions, StoreOnce and StoreAll products, 3PAR, Storageworks XP, Simplivity, Nimble. Currently working on an ongoing engagement with SA Water and am currently working on a major project to virtualise their entire SCADA workloads at all of their water treatment and waste water treatment plants with a combination of new ESXi clusters in the core data centres and VSAN HC clusters at some sites. My involvement here has been to lead, design and build the VMware implementation. This involved building 2 new ESXi clusters in the SA Water metro DCs including Site Recovery Manager as well as two node direct connect VSAN clusters for remote sites.Other projects I have completed so far on this engagement are - security remediation activities for service accounts using Kerbros /SPNS- ESXi DMZ refresh from ESXi 5.5 U3 to 6.5 U1- assisting with upgrading Cloud Director 5.5 to VRA 6.3 Show less
